About Us: From the manufacturer, Karl Elsener first opened his cutler's workshop in Ibach-Schwyz in 1884. In the early years, he dedicated himself to fighting poverty and unemployment in the Schwyz basin by creating jobs and helping to reduce emigration. By 1891, he had supplied the Swiss Army with the soldier's knife. Subsequently, in 1897, he went on to develop the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife, which is now known as the Swiss Army Knife. The knife features a micro-serrated edge for easy peeling of fruits and vegetables, a pivoting blade that adjusts based on pressure applied to prevent damage to delicate produce, and a commercial-grade blade with a comfortable non-slip grip. Additionally, there is a potato eye remover built into the tip. These high-quality knives are proudly made in Switzerland.
